About
I have loved running and playing sports from a young age. I always sprinted down the field during PE in elementary school. So when I took up track and field in 6th grade, I was well equipped. In high school, I made the transition from track to cross country, although I still enjoy all types of running. I put significant effort into running, and in 2023, as a Junior, I won MBIL XC boys MVP. My investment paid off, and I will continue to work to win more awards. As a runner, I know to always put my all into every activity I try. I am a drummer and jazz pianist, playing in multiple bands, where I apply my persistence skills daily. I also volunteer weekly to tutor elementary school students--I find it very rewarding to help younger kids develop and learn. I hope to even inspire some to one day run cross country!
