About
I started running in 6th grade for my school's Cross Country team. At first, running was just a way to hangout with friends and stay fit for soccer, but after my first season and finishing 5th in the 6th grade state meet I started to become a little more serious, realizing I actually had some potential and that it couldn't hurt to run harder.
In 7th grade, I improved a lot, finishing 6th overall in the 2018 Massachussetts XC State Championship, 6th in the 2018 Carlisle Invitational, and eventually running 5:05 in the mile and 2:18 in the 800. This year in Cross Country I finished 2nd in the Massachussetts XC State Championship, won the Carlisle Invitational, and broke the course record at my school by 1 second. I am looking forward to continuing to improve in my running with the Emerging Elites program.
In addition to running, my main sport is soccer, in which I play for the Boston Bolts, and I also enjoy school and spending time with my friends and family.
