Indoor 2023
Hayden joined Emerging Elites halfway through the 2023 Indoor Program and quickly saw great results. Hayden ran 2:15 in his 800m debut at the 2023 USATF New England Indoor Track & Field Championship. Hayden followed up this performance a week later by clocking in a 5 second PR of 2:10.60 at Boston University’s Last Chance Meet. Hayden then ran a solid 2:10.64 to match his PR and cap off his indoor season at the USATF Night at the Track Meet.

Outdoor 2023
Hayden decided to test himself over shorter distances to open up the 2023 outdoor season. He ran a 58.57 in his debut 400m at the USATF New England Youth Mini Meet #1 and followed it up with a solid 2:12.67 performance at the first Battle Road Twilight Meet.
