Gabby started training with Emerging Elites in the winter of 2022 and he has seen incredible improvement over that span of time.

Indoor 2022

After a strong training block at the end of December and beginning of January, Gabby was ready to test out his fitness at the NEPSTA All-Comers Meet at the state of the art indoor facility, Snyder Center, at Phillips Andover Academy. Gabby finished 2nd in the 800m and set a new PR of 2:06.19. The next day, Gabby ran the 1000m at the USATF-NE Youth Indoor Meet #2 where he set a personal best in a time of 2:41.59. The following week, Gabby lowered his lifetime personal best in the 800m at the Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic. He ran a smart race and closed hard, clocking in 2:01.20 for the 800m. Gabby went on to set another personal best in the 1000m at Boston University’s David Hemery Valentine Invitational, where he ran 2:37.95 to lower his PR by over 3 seconds.

Outdoor 2022

Gabby had a breakout outdoor season, consistently finishing at the top of races in the Independent School League. At the ISL Championships he scored twice for Milton Academy, finishing 4th in the 1500m and 6th in the 800m. He would go on to finish 7th in the 1500m at the NEPSTA Division 1 Track & Field Championship.

Indoor 2023

In his indoor season opener, Gabby picked up where he left off, running 2:04.7 in the 800m at the Night at the Track Meet #1. A few weeks later, Gabby ran a solid race in the 1000m at Boston University’s John Thomas Terrier Classic, clocking in at 2:39.41. Despite feeling under the weather, Gabby took advantage of a fast race at the Boston University Last Chance Meet to run 2:38.79 in the 1000m, a season best for him. Gabby capped off his indoor season by running a huge PR in the mile, 4:44.49, at the Night at the Track Meet #3.
