About |
Fiona joined the high school cross country team as only one of 2 girls on the team, building it as captain over the last three years to a team of 20, competitive in MIAA Div 6. She joined indoor track for the first varity season for the sport at the high school, becoming captain her junior year. In outdoor track she helped establish the Manchester-Essex/Gloucester cooperative and was elected captain of the combined teams her junior year. She has run personal records at every distance each season, taking 1 minute off her 2 mile PR and 1 minute off her cross-country 5K times, her sophomore and junior years, respectively. When not running, Fiona competes in national debate tournaments, serves as President of the Debate Team and Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper, and is a member of the National Honor Society, maintianing high honor roll status. She also enjoys acting and music, with lead roles in the Manchester SummerStage theater productions, and she has been playing violin since age six. |
