Tom enjoys all sports, including running, biking, ultimate frisbee, and basketball. During the summer, Tom works as a groundskeeper on a local golf course. His weekends consist of long walks on the beach and reading leather-bound books. Tom's favorite musical artist is Carrie Underwood and his favorite athlete is Dean Karnazes. His favorite sports team is the Boston Celtics and, one day, he aspires to walk the Appalachian Trail, in entirety.

Tom is an all-around athlete. When he's not running, Tom is on the basketball court as a starting guard for Thayer Academy.
